Wine description
This wine from the Rothschild family is made from 40 hectares of vines that are on average over 50 years old. Deep garnet-red with purple highlights, it opens with a fine, elegant nose of ripe fruit. It has a generous bouquet of cherry, liquorice and spices, and tannins of great character. The powerful, full attack is followed by a long, fresh finish with hints of vanilla and undergrowth.
